Welcome to a warm, light filled space designed for food photography, social media content, brand shoots and intimate gatherings. Our southern California pool house has been converted into a stylish kitchen and dining area that is perfect for filming content, photographing recipes, hosting small, quaint gatherings, or creating lifestyle content for brands. The space has been designed to feel both polished and lived in -think Nancy Meyers-meets-studio kitchen. The kitchen features generous counter space for prep and shooting spaces. A large kitchen island that is great for overhead filming and open airy decor that can be easily swapped to fit your vision. I am a cookbook author and food creator who designed this space specifically for hosting, recipe development and food photography. I jokingly call it 'my play kitchen'. The two large windows provide great natural light from the hours of 8am-2pm or so. After that it is recommended to bring additional lighting if needed for shoots. There is also a small poolside lounge area with lush greenery and fruit trees right outside of the space that can also be used. We often use it for photoshoots or to host dinner parties or small cocktail hours. Please note, there is one small bar sink in the corner of the kitchen area, apart from that there isn't a traditional size sink.
