Mahone Studios is a Christian and Black-owned, fully staffed editorial loft studio in the heart of West Midtown Atlanta. We built this space for creators who are serious about their work — photographers, videographers, content teams, and production crews who need more than four walls and a backdrop. The main shoot space is 450 square feet of versatile, light-filled room featuring exposed brick, soaring industrial ceilings, and a frosted glass garage door that floods the space with soft, diffused natural light. The concrete floors and warm gold accents give the space an editorial quality that works across commercial, lifestyle, fashion, and branding shoots without requiring heavy art direction. A studio host is on-site for every booking to welcome you, ensure the space is ready, and be available if any issues arise. Clients are responsible for operating their own equipment and running their own shoot. The studio comes fully equipped with a professional Godox strobe lighting system — including two 400Ws studio strobes, two parabolic softboxes (70cm and 120cm), an RGB LED video panel, wireless TTL trigger, C-stands with boom arms, and a full reflector and diffuser kit. Whether you're shooting stills, video, or both, the equipment is ready when you are. Six backdrop options are available on-site: White, Black, Hot Pink, Red, Linen/Tan, and Baby Blue. Combined with the natural light from the garage door and windows, you have the flexibility to create completely different looks within a single booking. The studio also includes a private 125 square foot dressing room with mirror and prep area, shared restrooms down the hall, free on-site parking, and garage door access for easy equipment load-in. We are located 3.1 miles from Mercedes-Benz Stadium — approximately seven minutes by car — with easy access from I-75/85. This is not a self-serve studio.
