Soulful Prairies has hosted a variety of events including equine clinics, private and corporate retreats, fundraisers, celebrations and meetings. In addition to our gorgeous prairie space, we also have clean and comfortable accommodations on-site for groups or individuals. Thirty acres are now in the Land Conservancy which means these areas offer native wildlife and plant life, some of which are endangered. Five acres are fenced for the horses. It is always fun to stop and have a chat with one of them if you are out and about. A walking path sweeps the edge of the property. The buildings surround a grassy flat area perfect for hosted events. Don’t forget to take a nap in one of our hammocks. There is also a beautiful overlook where you can kick back, watch a sunset and the birds and other wildlife over the pond. The property is home to several fantastic spaces: The Arena is 80’ x 160’ with a brick-paved entrance and a sand-base floor. The white-fabric ceiling filters light, creating a bright and cheerful non climate controlled indoor environment. The historic 1830s Log Cabin is nestled within a healing and restorative prairie setting, is thoughtfully decorated with vintage furnishings to transport visitors back in time and is fully equipped with modern amenities. The Barn Loft is a spacious 42' x 56' gathering space designed for farm table dining, classes, and collaboration. Rustic plank wood round tables and wooden chairs set the tone, with a counter bar and a couch seating area inviting guests to settle in. A kitchenette keeps everything within reach, complete with a refrigerator, sink, microwave, coffee maker, teapot, and toaster oven, plus dish ware available for use. A first-floor bathroom and additional refrigerator add everyday convenience to the space.
