**About the Space** A restored Greek Revival mansion in the Marigny, built in the 1850s and kept whole — high ceilings, original millwork, deep windows, and the kind of light that only comes through twelve-foot openings. The house sleeps up to 32-36 across nine suites, 15 bedrooms, each with its own bath, so a group can take the entire property without anyone drawing the short straw. The main floor opens up for gatherings. Living spaces can connect rather than close off, which means a party can spread out and still feel like one party — a bar/kitchen in one room, seating in the next, food laid out in a third. The staircase and front parlor photograph beautifully and have carried more than a few first looks and portrait sessions. Out back there are three private courtyards - one with a hot tub, walled off from the street and shaded enough to be usable most of the year. They work for a welcome drink, a rehearsal dinner, a morning-after brunch, or just somewhere to sit when the house gets loud. A separate carriage house, holding three of the rooms, sits right off the courtyard and gives you a quieter corner away from the main building. Upstairs balconies run along the front of the house and look out over one of the prettiest residential stretches in the neighborhood. Guests tend to end up out there. The location does a lot of the work. Frenchmen Street is a short walk, the French Quarter is a little further on foot, and a well-known performance venue sits a few blocks away — which makes the house a natural fit for wedding parties/events who want everyone under one roof and nobody driving. Best suited to weddings and wedding-adjacent events, family reunions, milestone birthdays, corporate retreats, photo and film shoots, and any group large enough that hotel rooms stop making sense.
