Located in the heart of Toronto’s historic Annex neighbourhood, this lovingly curated two-level residence offers approximately 1,100 sq. ft. of warm, eclectic interiors and a private treetop terrace.
The home occupies the second and third floors of a historic Toronto house and features hardwood flooring throughout, abundant natural light, bay windows, a gas fireplace, an open-concept kitchen and dining area, and a distinctive mix of vintage, contemporary, and antique furnishings.
The second-floor living room is especially well suited to interviews and lifestyle filming, with large bay windows, mature trees outside, a fireplace, artwork and several potential camera angles and backgrounds. The adjacent open kitchen/dining room provides an additional residential look.
The third floor has two rooms — a primary bedroom with large windows and direct terrace access, and a second bedroom configured as an office — allowing productions to create several distinct setups within one location.
During the warmer months, the private rooftop terrace becomes a lush garden setting surrounded by mature tree canopy, flowers and greenery, creating the feeling of a secluded urban treehouse in the middle of Toronto.
Ideal for interviews, documentary work, commercials, branded content, lifestyle photography, editorial shoots and small film productions.
The property is centrally located in The Annex, near Bathurst Station and Bloor Street, with convenient access to downtown Toronto.
PRODUCTION NOTES:
Approx. 1,100 sq. ft. over two levels. Access is through a street-level shared vestibule followed by one straight staircase to the main level. A shorter interior staircase leads to the bedrooms and terrace on the third floor. The ground-floor unit is separately occupied, so productions should be mindful of shared entry access and noise. Furniture may be moved with prior approval and must be returned to its original position. Floor protection is required for production equipment.
Ideal crew size: 5–10 people
Comfortable maximum: 12 people
Larger than that: case-by-case
