Book a real motorcycle workshop and furnished clubhouse in Red Hook, Brooklyn, for film, photography, fashion and brand shoots. Motorcycle rows, workshop benches, tools, art and a café/bar lounge offer several existing looks within approximately 1,500 sq ft overall, including the bathroom. This is a location rental: bring your own camera, lighting, grip and sound equipment. This listing is for a full-facility production rental with an eight-hour minimum and a maximum of 25 people, including crew, talent, clients and vendors. The booking includes full-space access with workshop operations shut down for the rental. An onsite location manager—the owner, Becky or an appointed representative—is included throughout the booking. The limited exception is that a member may briefly retrieve a motorcycle for use offsite; coordinate any sensitive shooting periods with the host in advance. Plan your shot list, access schedule and equipment placement before confirmation. Full access does not authorize handling member motorcycles or operating workshop equipment. Space rental starts at $400/hour Monday–Thursday and $450/hour Friday–Sunday, with an eight-hour minimum. Featured motorcycles require a separate bike rental. Short production option by custom quote: a two-hour shoot is $1,800, subject to availability and advance approval of the shot plan, setup and required labor. The two-hour window includes load-in, setup, shooting, breakdown and load-out. Shop operations shut down for the booking, and the onsite location manager is included. Overtime is $450 per started 30-minute increment and requires host approval and availability. Featured motorcycles, additional labor and agreed extras are quoted separately. Request this option through an inquiry; the standard listing retains its eight-hour minimum. The short-shoot option reserves only the confirmed two-hour access window, not the full day. Overtime charges do not guarantee permission to remain or reserve additional hours. The short-shoot package cannot be converted to the eight-hour package during the booking, and its charges are not recalculated at the lower full-day hourly rate. Any change to the booking package must be approved and confirmed through Peerspace before the shoot begins. If an extension is unavailable or not approved, all crew, equipment and belongings must leave by the confirmed end time. For standard production bookings, overtime is charged at 1.5 times the booked hourly rental rate, rounded up to started 30-minute increments: $300 per half-hour at the $400 Monday–Thursday rate, or $337.50 per half-hour at the $450 Friday–Sunday rate. Extensions require host approval and availability; setup, breakdown and load-out beyond the confirmed access window count as overtime. All rental and overtime charges are handled through Peerspace. The location is not soundproof. Discuss dialogue recording, interviews, ambient street/building sound and café service timing in advance. Shooting areas, equipment placement, lighting and the full load-in/load-out schedule must be agreed with the host. All crew, talent, clients and vendors count toward the approved headcount. The front café/lounge is approximately 680 sq ft, excluding the bathroom, and the rear workshop area is approximately 25 × 25 ft. Ceilings are approximately 18 ft high. Open floor space varies with motorcycles, furniture and the agreed setup. Existing furniture, Wi-Fi, heating/air conditioning, onsite restroom access and street-level access are available. No dedicated onsite parking is included; nearby street parking is subject to availability and posted regulations. Load-in: the front entrance is the shorter route. The two front doors are each approximately 4 ft wide and 8 ft high. Equipment continuing to the rear workshop passes through the approximately 4-ft-wide passage beside the bar. The alternate route typically starts with street unloading on Van Dyke Street, through an outer building door and an internal hallway to our rear double doors. This longer route works for wheeled equipment and avoids the bar-side passage. There is no step at our rear entrance, but there is a normal curb between street and sidewalk. Street unloading is subject to space availability and posted restrictions. Include loading and unloading in your booked access window; confirm doorway and hallway clearances with the host before booking large equipment. Espresso service is available by advance arrangement for crew and talent, including lattes, cappuccinos, cortados and other café drinks. Choose pay-as-you-go service or arrange a prepaid crew café tab. The location manager may also provide café service; a separate dedicated barista is not included. Agree service hours, menu, any spending limit and any additional dedicated staffing before the shoot. Café purchases are separate from the space rental, and espresso preparation is coordinated around sound recording. A dedicated dressing room, stage and microphone are not included. Workshop tools, lifts and machines are not available for independent guest operation. Eight 20-amp circuits are available across the space, including the back room. High-amperage equipment may need to be spread across separate circuits. Outlets may share a circuit; coordinate equipment loads and circuit allocation with the host before booking. Share your equipment list and power requirements before booking so the host can confirm cable routing and available loads. Motorcycles already in the shop are included as background scenery at no additional bike-rental charge. Production crews must work safely around them and may not move them. The onsite location manager may make reasonable motorcycle moves as needed; discuss desired layouts and key shots in advance. Discuss planned set changes and any required onsite labor before booking. Labor beyond reasonable, occasional adjustments by the location manager requires prior approval and may carry an additional charge. Production crews may not move motorcycles themselves. Individually featured motorcycles require a separate bike rental agreed before booking. Guests may not touch, sit on or operate bikes, tools, lifts or machines without specific host approval. Engines may not be started indoors. Outside catering is welcome by arrangement. No guest cooking or food-preparation access is included. All beverages are supplied through house service; no BYOB or outside drinks. Café and bar purchases are separate from the space rental; discuss the current menu and service arrangements during your inquiry. Include your concept, shot list, total headcount, equipment/power needs, sound-recording requirements and complete schedule when inquiring. Load-in, setup, shooting, strike and load-out must fit within the booking. Security cameras remain on during bookings. Included furniture comprises 3 couches, 7 bar stools, 3 additional low chairs, 2 coffee tables and a bar surface. The space and its one bathroom are wheelchair accessible. Guests must put loose plates, food and trash into the provided receptacles and remove their own belongings, catering supplies, decorations and props within the booked time. The host handles disposal into onsite bins and final cleaning. The host team restores workshop equipment and the agreed furniture layout. Full-space productions require at least 48 hours’ advance notice, and some arrangements may need more. Equipment breakdown and load-out must fit within the booked time. Host final cleaning takes place afterward; we allow a one-hour turnaround before another rental. Equipment deliveries before your booked access time require advance approval and may incur an additional fee where storage or placement affects venue preparation. Any fee is quoted and agreed before confirmation. Early delivery does not include setup access.
