We've got you covered! - Temporary Party Decor: Tastefully designed decor that alters with the season, adding an edge of surprise to your photos. - Acoustic Brilliance: Bring your portable speaker, and let the smooth rhythm of background music uplift spirits. - One Restroom: Ensuring the comfort and convenience of all your guests. Our space supports outside food and cooking on-site while adhering to a BYO alcohol policy. To keep our space affordable, set up and clean up is up to you. You may move items, we just ask that you please return them to their original place. That being said, you are welcome to use anything in our fully-stocked kitchen (plates, cutlery, glasses, serving platters, pots and pans, cake stands, etc.) - anything that can be washed and put back, you're welcome to! Please note that the decorations in the space (such as the swooping cloth pictured in some photographs) changes in accordance with the season. We'd be happy to provide you with information about the specific decorations during your rental time. We do not provide speakers or a sound system. Renters can bring a portable speaker from home for background music. Loud music is not allowed (i.e. if you want to hire a DJ, we are probably not the venue for you). Renters are expected to be respectful of neighbors and keep reasonable noise levels at all times. St. Lydia's is a small storefront church space that hosts rentals of all kinds. We are a progressive, LGBTQIA-affirming congregation working together to dispel isolation, reconnect neighbors, and subvert the status quo.
