Acerca de Build Coffee & Books
Hello! By day we're a coffee shop and bookstore on the South Side of Chicago. Tucked away in an idyllic brick building, Build's indoor space and outdoor patio are ideal for meetings, parties, workshops, performances, screenings, and summer BBQs, and more.
In total, there is approximately 1450 square feet of rentable space. The patio is approximately 950 square feet and can comfortably seat 50 people for a seated dinner, 75 for a cocktail style gathering. The indoor space is about 500 square feet and can comfortably seat 20 at tables, 40 seated for a presentation, or 50 standing.
We offer on-site pastries and beverage service (coffee and teas), or allow outside catering.

What's up, I'm Holly! My work is rooted in observation, not imitation.
I like to tell stories, ya know. My work moves past trends and curated aesthetics to capture something more honest: the subtle, unspoken essence of a person, a brand story, or moment. I pride myself in intentional stillness, creating a sense that nothing is forced and everything is felt, and through my work you can see your story unfold.Read more
