St John Studios provides an unforgettable and uniquely Austin indoor/outdoor setting. High ceilings and vintage wood-clad walls make The Great Hall an inspiring central space for large dinners, alternative weddings, food, wine and spirit tastings, and gatherings and celebrations of all kinds. Two large sliding doors open onto the rectangular Courtyard. Framed by covered patios and strung with cafe lights, the Courtyard is often used as an outdoor dance floor. Covered areas are ideal for dining and/or serving dinner outside. Ask about our wood-fired brick pizza oven if you want to make your event a pizza night. The Shed Bar frames another side of the Courtyard. This funky and magnetic rustic space has a live-edge bar and a large serving window that opens to a secluded back patio. In warm months you will almost always find a cool breeze. In cooler months we fire up the wood burning stove. A staging/catering area on one end of the Hall has its own service entrance and includes a refrigerator, ice maker, and a commercial 3-compartment sink. An available Loft Stage above the Hall can accommodate a live band or DJ.
