If you are looking for a quiet, tranquil and creative space for your small photo or video shoot retreat - this property is perfect for you. Please read description carefully as we want to make sure this is the right fit. This is a peaceful escape; not for loud groups. Absolutely no parties allowed. Our location manager greets all guests, lives next door and is available to help make your shoot easy and productive. Please note we have a strict cancellation policy. We recommend guests retain travel insurance prior to booking with us in case your plans change. Upon entering the gate to our home you will be greeted by a large pepper tree and expansive driveway. Our home is on an acre of land in the East End of Ojai. The front is beautifully landscaped with large persimmon and other fruit trees, an UN-HEATED pool with chaise lounge chairs awaits. *Our first consideration is to our neighbors* Our home is at the end of a narrow lane so please drive slowly. No outside noise past 9pm. No amplified noise or music. No one on the property without permission of the owner. All guests must be listed on reservations accurately. No pets without prior permission and pet fee paid. This is a peaceful escape; not for loud groups. When you enter the front door you will walk into a beautifully appointed living room with large comfy couches and a view of the mountains. Walk down the hallway and you will pass the guest bathroom, light and airy with a clawfoot bathtub. Lavender shampoo, conditioners, and soaps await. Continue down the hall to the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has everything one needs to cook for your friends, family or loved ones. The dining table is nestled into the corner with views of the mountains. Walkthrough the kitchen out to the side where there is a 4 seat table under a covered porch perfect for morning coffee. A large wooden table sits under pepper trees with views of the mountains, perfect for afternoon lunch or dinner. Off of the dining area is the guest bedroom. This room is our favorite! With two windows looking out to the Ojai mountains. Continue back down the hall to the large master bedroom which faces the front yard, fruit trees, pepper trees, and the pool. The master bathroom has a clawfoot bathtub and lavender shampoo, conditioner and soap for a relaxing bath after a day of hiking or meditation. Connected to the master bedroom is the third bedroom. Built-in 1920s this was an artist studio with amazing light that has been converted into a bedroom with two full size, super comfortable beds. Please note that this 3rd room has an entrance from the outside and an entrance via a door from the master bedroom. This room does not have air conditioning. IMPORTANT: -The pool is UNHEATED -Absolutely no parties or gatherings. -An additional $100 pet fee will be charged for each dog. No dogs over 50lbs. Dogs not to be left alone at the house to avoid destruction. -Our neighbors are wonderful and important to us. All guests must be respectful and quiet. This house is only appropriate for people looking for quiet, retreat-like space. -Our home is at the end of a narrow lane. All guests must drive slowly and quietly so as not to disturb neighbors. -All guests must be listed upon reservation. If additional guests join please notify us so that we can adjust the reservation. The first 4 guests are included in the highly cost. Any guests above 4 - will be charged $75 per person. -The barrunca - Please note that the barrunca is a exciting place to explore but the rocks are unstable and we don't recommend allowing children to go exploring alone. -On occasion, there is wild life on the property such as coyotes, deer and raccoons. Do not leave animals or young children unattended. -The pool is cleaned but NOT HEATED and is surrounded by beautiful landscaping. PLEASE NOTE: Because of the pool this home is not appropriate for families with small children or children who do not swim. The pool is NOT HEATED. -We have a strict no party rule.
