Experience breathtaking 360° Downtown Skyline views, 8 stories on top of Los Angeles. Enjoy 12,000 sq. ft of wide open rooftop space located in the Santee Design Center in the Fashion District. IMPORTANT NOTE: The Skyline Rooftop does not have access to electricity and restrooms. If you need access to either, you MUST book the Skyline Loft as well, our studio on the 6th floor of the same building: SKYLINE LOFT https://www.peerspace.com/pages/listings/59b84e78403b192a0028a184 When booking the Skyline Loft, you have access to amenities such as tables, chairs, lounge furniture, decor, props, and more! Please check out the listing for a full list of amenities. Many clients have used the tables/chairs from the Skyline Loft and rented additional items for the rooftop. ACCESS Access to the rooftop is by staircase only from the 7th floor. There is a passenger elevator and freight elevator that goes up to the 7th floor. Be sure to inform vendors so they can plan setup/teardown accordingly. PLATFORM PRICING Kindly be aware that platform pricing may appear higher than actual costs due to limitations. Explore our PRICING section in the description for accurate and transparent details. BOOKING TIME 5-hour minimum to allow time for setup and cleanup. Minimum applies 8AM-12AM. Negotiable depending on your booking of the Skyline Loft and the nature of the event. CATERING BYO catering is allowed. Catering companies can bring food ready to serve, prep, and keep it warm in chafers. Food trucks are allowed to park in the alley next to the building and deliver food via the freight elevator. Cooking is not allowed on the rooftop. Chafing fuel is okay. ALCOHOL No alcohol is allowed on the rooftop for safety reasons, nor is anyone under the influence of alcohol. SECURITY 1 guard required per 50 people: $50/hr/guard until 12AM; $75/hr/guard 12AM-2AM REFUNDABLE DAMAGE DEPOSIT 50% of the booking fee rounded up to the nearest $500. Held in good faith to cover overtime or damages to the space. Charges will be processed and deducted from the deposit, and the remainder will be refunded back. CLEANING $300 fee applies if there is ANY food/snacks/drinks. Even if food is served on the 6th floor, guests often bring it to the rooftop, triggering this fee. Consider renting trash cans from catering companies. FREIGHT ELEVATOR Standard Hours: Mon-Fri: 8AM-5:30PM Saturday: 8AM-12PM Sunday: N/A - Required for moving tables, chairs, rentals, large items, heavy items, equipment, machinery, etc. - Operated by an attendant - Available on a first-come first-served basis - cannot be reserved for exclusive access during standard hours of operation - Off-hour access subject to property management approval and staff availability - Interior: 7’x7’x7’ ; Door: 5’5” x 6’8” Rates: - Off-Hour Access (until 12AM): $50/hr - Must be immediately before/after standard hours, OR hire a minimum 4-hour shift) - After 12AM / Overtime / Last-minute arrangements (less than 72 hours before the start of the booking): $75/hr RESTRICTIONS Per the restrictions of the City of Los Angeles, we do not allow loud music like a club/rave.
