About The Space Our space is a wedding and event venue in Astoria, Oregon. Hotel Astoria was built in 1924 and constructed to be the tallest building on the Oregon Coast. Over the years the building was destroyed by natural and economic disasters, rebuilt several times, and eventually condemned in 1968. The property came to the now owner in 2009 and has been carefully restored to preserve the historical aspects. The Ruins is located in the heart of downtown Astoria just three blocks from restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Facilities and Capacity The space is two stories tall and at the center are eight corinthian columns the rise to the ceiling and encircle a stunning mezzanine. The venue has Gothic details and a wall of windows for natural light. The space can accommodate 120 seated guests with a max capacity of 250. The venue has a grand entrance, low profile stage, serving bar, restrooms and so many unique touches.
