Welcome to Studio 5, our largest open studio. It spans 3,700 sq. ft. of raw industrial space with breathtaking natural light, blackout curtains, and a private loading dock. From multiple sets to large events, this studio has all the space you need to dream big. Located in Southwest Berkeley, our building features 50,000 sq. ft. of operable space. Also located in-house are our production partners, Ranahan Production Services and Little Giant Lighting & Grip Co. We are happy to act as your liaison to procure their services during your time with us. We have limited parking onsite which is subject to availability. Please let us know about any parking requirements so we can work with you on a parking plan. Amenities include: - Approx. 3700sq. ft. - 23’ H Ceiling - Distribution box with 200 amp, 3 phase power - Ground floor accessible with private truck-height loading doors - Natural Light - Blackout option - Open Studio - Portable Heating & Cooling - Private Entrance - Rental rate covers a 10-hour day. -Overtime and weekends are possible for an additional fee with advance notice. Health is our top priority. With our updated COVID-response, we ensure to keep our space sanitized and safe. To keep you safe, we are doing the following: Our staff is trained on CDC, state and local health guidelines and is C19CO and SafeSet certified. Masks are mandatory in the building. With 30' high ceilings, expansive studios stretching over 44,000 square feet and windows that reach the ceiling, we are able to provide air ventilation throughout our space. Hand sanitizer is located at the entrances of all common areas and studios. Exterior high contact areas, such as handles, keys and lock boxes, are sanitized regularly. With the help of our partners, equipment is cleaned and disinfected upon return. We have sanitation kits and PPE available onsite. Touchless Thermometers are available on site for personal use.
