Medium-sized (1200+ sf) fully stocked photo/video studio in a former warehouse* with north-facing windows and frosted-glass rollup garage door, plus skylights (which can be covered). Easy first-floor access with direct load-in via garage door, two semi-official parking spaces, and additional plentiful street parking. Shooting area includes a cyclorama and measures 20x44 feet; ceilings are 11+ feet. Plenty of available light, but shooting area can also be nearly blacked out. The floor is gray concrete and generally the cyc is painted white; can be repainted for a fee. Cyc also features roll-down backdrops. Space has heating and AC, plus a large whole-room air purifier. In addition to shooting area, basic studio rental includes: • spacious client reception area with sofa, chair, and a full bathroom. • kitchenette with sink, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes, glasses, and silverware • small sunny outdoor patio with table and chairs, shaded by a patio umbrella. • basic grip package (see below) IMPORTANT -- PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: MINIMUM BOOKING RATE: We have a 6-hour OR $600 minimum. We will consider shorter booking requests if you meet the minimum by adding equipment. INSURANCE REQUIRED: We require a $1M Certificate of Insurance to be provided three days before the event date. If you do not have your own business insurance, let us know: we can work with you to help you purchase inexpensive short-term event insurance through PeerSpace's recommended vendor TheEventHelper.com. VIDEO SHOOTS: Video interviews and bands have been recorded here (see below), but studio is not fully soundproofed; there is occasional ambient street noise.
