East Austin Event Venue, 1300sqft with stage, furniture, backline (W/ Courtyard Extra)

Our studio is nestled in the heart of Austin's east side, just minutes from downtown while also tucked away from busy traffic and thoroughfares. We are close to a grocery store, liquor store, many venues and nightclubs, and some residential areas. Our space was originally a warehouse that manufactured bulk chain and rope in the 1950's, and since has subdivided into many units hosting artists, makers, and small businesses, sharing a courtyard parking lot with neighboring tenants. For this reason, we prefer advance notice for larger indoor/outdoor events. The studio has a full-sized garage door, house projection screen, portable video monitor, metal and wooden accents, and a parking lot with up to 22 spaces available for special events (5 parking spaces designated for our studio 24/7). Pricing starts at $125, with larger capacity events at $150 or $175 per hour depending on the day of the week and time of day. Our studio/club default layout for Monks Jazz has a capacity of 50-60 (Flexible up to 70+ on your desired layout of tables/seats inside), and and larger events from 70-200 attendees can be accommodated by using extra rooms in our unit and out into the common areas of the complex.
