The Main Hall is the big room at 1712 Studios, a 6,000 sq ft warehouse in Sodo. Double height ceilings, raw brick, an open floor that holds a crowd and a real dance floor, not a corner of a ballroom with the tables pushed back. A Mackie sound system with subwoofers, a DJ booth, a 110 inch screen you plug your own laptop into, high speed WiFi and a dressing room are all in the room. Tables and 80 chairs, a bar area with fridge and prep sink, a private entrance with garage door load in, four private parking spots and free street parking. Up to 120 guests. Friday, Saturday and Sunday it runs as a six hour package with a licensed bartender and a security guard already inside the price. Monday to Thursday you can take it by the hour with no bar, four hour minimum here, for workshops, classes, shoots, meetings, showers and memorials. You bring your own alcohol under a Washington banquet permit and our bartender pours it. Any caterer or food truck, no vendor list, no food and drink minimum. Open as late as 2am every night. Saturday and Sunday open at 4:30pm. If you want something other than a hotel ballroom with a seating chart and a 10pm hard stop, this is the room. HOW PRICING WORKS ON PEERSPACE This listing is the Main Hall, up to 120 guests. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are six hour packages: the hourly rate for that day times six, plus the cleaning fee, is the whole price, with the licensed bartender, the security guard, tables and 80 chairs, the sound system and DJ booth, the 110 inch screen, a manager on site and cleaning already inside it. Nothing is added later. Six hours on a Friday comes to $2,440, Saturday $3,700, Sunday $2,200, cleaning included. Four hour minimum on every day. Monday to Thursday is by the hour with no bar, for workshops, classes, shoots, meetings, showers and memorials. Any bar at all means the weekend style package. You bring your own bottles under a Washington banquet permit and our bartenders pour, hard liquor welcome. Outside bartenders are not permitted.
