Our private event space is located at the north east corner of 6th and San Jacinto, on the second floor, just above country music venue and bar, San Jac Saloon. A historical space, the bar is backed by the original stone from 1875. The room features a large retractable roof, leather lounging couches, and balcony windows overlooking 6th street. The space provides a unique and private refuge directly in the heart of the downtown entertainment district. This venue is equipped with multiple displays, a large screen projector, house speakers, a Bose audio presentation stack, high speed Internet, and a variety of other accoutrements to satisfy any audio and visual needs. Use of our in-house AV equipment is complementary with all event rentals. We are TABC licensed and offer a full bar, including fine whiskies and local craft beers. Event staff (security, bartenders, bar support staff, and on-site management) are provided during event rentals, at no additional cost. Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted, as we are regulated by the TABC. The space is accessible via a private side entrance, optionally through the downstairs saloon, and is handicap accessible via an elevator. The space includes separate multi-person bathrooms for men and women. Furniture in the space includes oversized leather lounge furniture (couch, love seat, chairs), highboy cocktail tables, industrial-look bar stools, and tall bar chairs. 4 buffet tables are available for use during events (no additional charge). Furniture may be rearranged to suit your event, upon request. Lounge furniture must stay in the space, and cannot be removed. We are pleased to offer live music, complementary personalized drink menus, catering coordination, personalized decor, parking service, and event activities, upon request (at additional cost). Please let us know how you’l like to customize your event- we make the planning process easy! This private venue can accommodate a maximum of 150 people across 2,000 square feet. For larger groups, or for events that require more space, our entire venue is available to rent - full rentals accommodate up to 300 guests, and include this second-floor space, as well as the main floor of our venue. See our other listing for details. Please note: We no longer require a beverage minimum, in addition to venue rental, for private events booked via peerspace. Use the “Start Booking” button to enter your reservation details (rental date, booking time, and number of guests), and you will receive a price estimate for your event plans.
