We have furnished our wellness studio with the finest, most health-promoting materials, including Himalayan salt walls and cork flooring imported from Lisbon, Portugal. Himalayan salt walls emit free negative ions which are absorbed by the body. The negative ions emitted from Himalayan salt also balance the body’s positive to negative ion ratio, allowing for more blood flow and oxygen uptake. Moreover, the negative ions emitted neutralize positive ions from dust and pollen. As an added benefit, Himalayan Salt Walls are known to possess antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antifungal properties. When taken in during yoga and meditation breathing, the salt air may prove beneficial in numerous ways, including boosting the immune system and improving focus to allow the body, mind, and spirit to withdraw from the worries of the outside world. Our imported cork flooring is hypo-allergenic. Further, the cork’s unique cellular structure allows cork floors to withstand compression and bounce back. When cork floors are subjected to pressure or weight, the air in the cells is compressed, thus cushioning the impact on the body. Our clients enjoy the benefit of a vigorous workout without all the inflammation which arises from repeated impact with an unforgiving surface. Our studio space can be used for private events, team building, yoga, sound baths, breathwork, wellness workshops, and so much more!
