Three craftsman meeting rooms feature wood-framed windows, beamed ceilings, mahogany baseboards, moldings, wainscot and French doors. Furnishings are reminiscent of the Arts & Crafts movement. Meeting Room 106 is a primary focus for video shoots as it has two entrances to facilitate varied shooting angles. The French door opening spans about 3 feet. The second door enables shots along the length of the space toward the windows. The lobby area adjacent to Meeting Room 106 features a stone fireplace, Stickley chairs and a draw-leaf table, which may be moved to other spaces for filming. There is a skylight on the second floor. The space works well for meetings, interviews, depositions, dining, offices, psychotherapy or music lessons. The meeting tables seat up to 8 or 10 people. Your booking includes kitchen access and plenty of space for wardrobe, makeup, breaks and storage. Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. This 1907 Craftsman is listed in the National Register of Historic Places as one of twelve buildings in the South Marengo Historic District. The front door dates back to 1907 (according to our carpenter) as does the light fixture in 106 (according to our electrician) but the skylight was added many years later.
