Westwood Village Photo/Video Studio w/ Private Balcony

Our studio is located in the heart of Westwood Village in Los Angeles, California, just a short walk to UCLA and a short drive to Beverly Hills. The studio is equipped with a variety of amenities, including green screens, a variety of backdrops, an exposed brick wall, a steamer, apple boxes, lighting equipment including RGB lights, WiFi, soundproofing, and natural light. UCLA students who can show proof of enrollment are eligible for a 10% discount. Important Note Before Booking With Us: If your production requires absolute silence, then we don't recommend that you book with us. We do our best to soundproof our rooms but due to the balcony doors it's impossible to fully soundproof the space. Please remember this if you are filming a documentary, interview, podcast, etc. We recommend having a microphone suitable for this. A few tips to reduce noise during your visit are to fully close the balcony doors, use a microphone that only picks up sound up close, such as Rode MV7X or a SM7B, covering the balcony doors using our blackout/soundproof drapes, and closing the studio door during your production. Shoots on Saturday and Sunday mornings are the best as far as noise pollution as there are not nearly as many cars out on the road during this time. We are actively working to find new solutions to reduce outdoor noise in our facility. Additionally, our space is only accessible via one flight of stairs. Note: Furniture in the hallway or bathroom CANNOT be moved. Frequently Asked Questions: Q: Do we have curtains to block out natural light when not needed? A: Although not shown in the photos, our space has since gotten blackout curtains. We are located in a commercial building. This studio is located in a very safe and friendly upscale neighborhood in Los Angeles (not downtown) and all of our clients love this! Great for actors, models, influencers, make-up artists, content creators, artists, students, professionals, podcasters, and creatives of all kinds! Wednesday Special: Book on Wednesdays between 8 am-6 pm for discounted pricing. Podcasters: Ask us how we can help you film your podcast in our space. Usage: The studio is great for small production photo/video shoots, interviews, product shoots, and podcasting. Due to the balcony doors, the room is not 100% soundproof, but with directional microphones, the background noise can be reduced even more. Neighborhood Details: The studio is located on Westwood Blvd in Westwood, which boasts a variety of restaurants and businesses ranging from Starbucks, Tacos 1986, and more in a prime and safe area near UCLA and Beverly Hills The building has been fully renovated and the studio features a private 28-foot balcony with a great view of the village. Note: For production companies and brands, please inquire ahead of time as the pricing structure varies based on the type and size of your production. NOTE: All of our spaces are monitored with 24/7 video surveillance cameras for security and liability reasons. For your privacy, we DO NOT record audio and will also not honor any request to disable the video surveillance cameras for any reason.
