Cozy but Roomy, Rustic but Modern Barn Gathering Space

Our 2nd floor barn event space is the perfect place to host a baby shower, bridal shower, photo shoot, birthday party, engagement party, family Christmas dinner, small business dinner, business meeting, etc, and it has lots of natural light with windows surrounding 3/4 of the space. Note: Day-time events (before 5 PM) must limit their attendance to about 7 vehicles because of limited parking due to our on-site business. Wilmer and I are the fourth generation to own this family property in Bird in Hand (and yes, Wilmer and his family used to be Amish!). In 2021, we purchased the property from his parents and turned part of the the 2nd floor of the old barn into an apartment for his parents (that section used to be the bird room where Wilmer raised birds while growing up) and then turned the other two-thirds of the 2nd floor into a gathering space for family and others to enjoy. We are surrounded by Amish neighbors and the back of our property runs into fields where cows sometimes graze. Also, the view out the back of the barn is gorgeous at sunset! We are also minutes away from shopping at the outlets, Bird in Hand Farmer's Market, and all kinds of magnificent food and entertainment in the area. With the original ceiling, beams and floor in place in the original section of the barn, it has a rustic feel that is enhanced with up-to-date décor. There is room for about four or five 6-foot tables in addition to the couch seating that is provided (another option for dining seating is a dining room table that can be extended to seat about 20 people). There is also a serving counter and a coffee bar if you will be serving food at your event. At one side of the room, we have a coal/wood burning stove to keep the space as cozy as possible. There is also a powder room available in the space. The event space is attached to our parent's apartment, but you will have privacy for your event as there are doors (and curtains) dividing the spaces. The only time you would be "disturbed" is if the coal stove needs to be taken care of to keep the space warm. Please excuse the outside appearance of the barn as we are still in the process of finishing renovations and updates to the property. Note: The space is not easily handicap accessible although there is a barn hill in the back that a wheel chair could potentially be pushed up but it's not necessarily the easiest way in.
