The Reading Room is a beautiful 700 sq ft space for private dining, meetings, workshops, lectures and small events. This is a multi-use commercial space filled with great light by day, and lots of cozy lighting options by night. We are right in the heart of Lower Haight, there are a bunch of cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. This space has incredibly high ceilings and is beautifully furnished to give it a unique, cozy and fascinating atmosphere. If you are looking for something unusual for your event this is for you :) If you prefer to have some of the furniture removed for your event we can arrange that also. We have a range of lighting options which allow us to take the space from living room cozy in the day to vibey and colorful at night, we have lighting to suit your needs.
