Camp Cruz is a 4-acre glampground located in the redwoods and is an ideal set location for a forest movie setting. It offers 2 domes and a yurt: the Raven’s Nest (aircrete dome), the Owl’s Nest (yurt), and the Eagle’s Nest (a geodome). There is a full outdoor kitchen, a propane fire pit, showers, & much more. THE NESTS… The Raven’s Nest has electricity with an electric heater and a double-sized futon bed with bedding provided. It features a large round window seat that looks out towards the garden. The Owl’s Nest is equipped with electricity and a wood stove for heat with firewood provided. We also provide an electric blanket in addition to the wood stove to keep you cozy during the winter months. There is a double-sized futon bed with bedding provided. A private deck wraps around half of the bedroom. The Game Dome (the Eagle’s Nest) is a large geodome furnished as a living room equipped with a pool table, foosball table, mini Pac-Man, an array of board games, a smart TV, a stereo, and couches for comfort. Guests can add this amenity for $50 per night. Inquire when booking if interested. Camp Cruz features a fully equipped covered outdoor kitchen, clean composting toilets, hot showers, and much more. The kitchen includes a propane oven/stove with pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils, a collection of spices, a charcoal grill (guests must bring their own briquettes), a sink with potable well water, a full-sized refrigerator. There is a full-sized ping pong table in the kitchen area for your enjoyment. Guests also have access to a propane campfire pit, a garden, a deck overlooking the creek, hammocks, a meditation pagoda, and open space in the forest.
