This includes doorknobs, light switches, countertops, and faucets. Be sure to follow the directions on the disinfectant cleaner label. Step 4: Check Once you have finished cleaning and sanitizing, go back through the house to check for any missed spots. Make sure that all of the surfaces are clean and free of dirt, dust, and germs.
