📸 ABOUT THE STUDIO Hi! I’m Katie, the photographer behind Katie Marie Photography. This is my personal studio—my creative home base! I use it regularly for my own sessions, but I also love sharing it with other photographers and creatives who may not have access to a dedicated space. Whether you're capturing newborns, hosting mini sessions, setting up a pop-up shop, or trying something totally new, this studio was designed with versatility and comfort in mind. It’s a space where creativity can thrive—without the stress or cost of a full-time lease. 🛋 FRONT ROOM (Client Area) Start your session in a comfortable front space with a cozy couch, Smart TV, and WiFi. It’s perfect for clients, parents, or anyone tagging along to relax—especially helpful during newborn sessions. A door separates this area from the main shooting room and can be left open or closed depending on your needs. 💡 MIDDLE ROOM (Main Shooting Area) This is your creative zone! While it’s not a natural light studio, it’s equipped with a professional lighting setup: *Alien Bee strobe with 86" PLM *Wireless triggers *Wall-mounted seamless paper system with three neutral backdrops pre-loaded (more colors available—see below!) *A large blank wall perfect for fabric or printed backdrops (magnet strips and gaffer tape provided) Need a quick lighting tutorial? I’m happy to give you a walkthrough! ✨ Add-On Options Available: *Turn on the Heat! — I’ll pre-heat the room before your session so it’s warm and cozy upon arrival. Perfect for newborn or boudoir shoots that need extra comfort without losing booked time. *Switch Up the Seamless! — Want to customize your backdrop colors? I’ll swap out the three neutral paper rolls for any three colors you choose from my stash (additional fee applies). Extras to make your session smooth: ✔️ Changing table for easy outfit swaps ✔️ Mini fridge stocked with cold water 🚪 BACK ROOM (Storage & Bathroom) This back room serves primarily as a storage area, but it also includes the private bathroom for client use. The door is typically kept closed during sessions to keep the space clean and distraction-free, but feel free to open it if someone needs the restroom. 📦 Note: This room contains personal studio storage—please be respectful and avoid moving or using any stored items unless they’ve been specifically offered for your session. ✨ THE VISION I created this studio to be a welcoming, inclusive space for all photographers and creatives—regardless of experience, background, or identity—who need a little extra room to bring their ideas to life. It’s a versatile spot perfect for: *Mini sessions *Styled shoots *Newborn photography *Branding shoots *Pop-up shops *Small art shows & collabs Everyone is encouraged to express their creativity here in a supportive, respectful environment. I’m also planning to host workshops and creative classes soon! 🛠 COMING SOON I’m still adding final touches to make the space even better. Access to the studio will be granted no earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled start time. If you need time to set up before clients arrive, please be sure to book accordingly so you’re not rushed. Thanks for helping keep things running smoothly for everyone! *Note: The hourly rental fee includes use of the main studio space, lighting equipment, and the pre-loaded seamless paper backdrops (neutral tones).
