The Cottage on Kansas is a historic 1930’s Tudor home. The space was completely remodeled in 2023 with the exception of some charming original elements to preserve the integrity of the space. Hardwoods, original windows, woodwork, and even some 1930’s bathroom fixtures remain. The space was professionally designed and staged by a local KC designer. The interior features a darling mix of cottagecore elements, mod design, and hand curated vintage finds. The space features a six person dining room, office with swing and desk/chair, living room with futon sofa, two chairs, and tables. Upstairs features two bedrooms: one queen primary room and one room with two doubles. The cottage features one full bathroom upstairs and one half bath downstairs. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking: range, fridge, coffee station, toaster oven, and disposal. Spring through fall, the cottage features over 2,000 square feet of raised gardens, additional cottage gardens, cut flowers, two water features, a checkerboard patio feature, covered patio, and a darling chicken coop with five hens.
