Location, location, location: Just a few blocks from Hopkins St and the Gourmet District, everything is at your fingertips (e.g., North Berkeley BART, Monterey Market, Gioia and Cheeseboard Pizza, great cafes, sushi, deli, speciality shops, parks, etc.). Though centrally located, the property sits back on a rather obscure 2.5-block street that is so quiet that we often find our cat sleeping in the middle of the street. The bright sunroom, expansive patios surrounded by lush gardens, seamless indoor-outdoor flow, and plentiful breakout spaces, and the property is an inspiring backdrop for offsite work retreats, professional strategy sessions, educational gatherings, and wellness workshops. The peaceful gardens and pops of color unite people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, creating a safe place for out of the box thinking, vulnerability, educated risk-taking, sharing ideas, meaningful connections, and collaboration. LOTS OF EXTRAS: We have a vast array of supplies to level up your experience, including two dozen chairs, four white table cloths, four black tablecloths, two white boards, a propane fire pit (come make s’mores :), dual Bluetooth speakers for surround sound, office supplies, a top of the line massage chair, a big trampoline, interactive games, four 6’ tables, four coolers, costumes, guitars, photo booth props and backdrops, projector, party decorations, professional lighting equipment for photo and film, colorful dance party lighting, and more. If you’re here at night, we have outdoor heaters, fire pits, and awesome and plentiful accent lighting that give ambience on our patio and show off our love of landscaping (I’m particularly proud of our succulent rock garden and 30 native fruit trees :). We LOVE dogs! Our back garden is fully gated, and well-behaved dogs (I.e., house trained, not aggressive, not incessant barkers or dogs that will dig in our garden) are allowed for a fee of $25/dog. We offer 25% discounts for nonprofit organizations, artists, students, educators, and anyone who can convince us they are using our property to make meaningful change in the world.
