We welcome you to Nosso Studio. We are a 750 sq ft south facing studio loft, in the heart of downtown Toronto, Our space’s most resounding feature is the brilliant natural light which floods through it. Our 14 ft ceilings, white floors and clean decor style help compliment the natural light to create a beautiful and bright space. We also have plenty of texture in our space which includes original brick walls, exposed beams, exposed piping, a plaster wall and a wainscoting wall. We’ve taken the New York loft style dream and gave it a modern twist. For creators, business owners, and photographers alike, our space provides the perfect setting. Complete with a fully functional kitchen featuring an oven, stove, full-sized fridge, and a petite kitchen island, our studio is designed for photoshoots, small-scale video productions, and intimate events. Please be aware that parties are not permitted in this space. NATURAL LIGHT Our space’s most resounding feature is the brilliant natural light which floods through it. While the light inevitably shifts throughout the day, we recommend booking during an appropriate time of day for the light you’re looking for. Although we are pretty great, we unfortunately haven’t yet figured out how to control the sun, so please use your best judgement while booking (or send us a message if you're curious about the best time of the day for the type of lighting you'll need for your shoot). 1 HOUR BOOKINGS During the weekdays we can accommodate some 1 hour bookings for small (up to 3 people) shoots. If you would like to book an hour shoot please send us a message directly. DECOR We deeply value excellent art & design. Our space is home to an array of beautifully designed furniture, decor, and props for your use. LOADING ACCESS We are happy to provide easy access through our building’s loading dock to our ground floor unit. Just let us know prior to your booking if you’ll need access, and we’ll set you up. ESSENTIALS A home away from home, we are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and easy shooting experience. We provide a garment rack, a steamer, hangers, accessible outlets, extension cords, wi-fi, a Bluetooth speaker sound system, two standard c-stands, sandbags, and everything you need to make a great cup of coffee. NOISE & AUDIO While the studio is concrete we ask that you are still mindful of extremely loud noises to not inconvenience the other units around us. Please also note that the studio is not soundproof. If you are recording audio, plan accordingly. OVERTIME Overtime is billed at 1.5X your rate in 30-minute increments. Ensure your booking accounts for setup and tear-down. ADDITIONAL NOTES Internet is available throughout the entire unit. Speaker available in the studio for background music (please be mindful of loudness). Full Washroom. Full Kitchen. Small coffee/tea station available. No filming in hallways/outside of unit. Not Pet friendly unit (please discuss/contact prior). Absolutely no glitter or confetti in the studio. No smoking of any kind in the studio.
