Welcome to the Art & Architecture Building in the Prospect Park neighborhood of SE Minneapolis! Originally a car parts manufacturing warehouse, this historic building has tons of character. Located on the Green Line with amazing access to both downtowns, the U of M, highways and transit, the MLX community art gallery space hosts art exhibits and performances and boasts 11.5' ceilings. We do not have a kitchen area, we recommend bringing in food pre-prepped or working with a caterer. We can provide 6 (30" x 72") tables, linens & 70 matching midmod stacking chairs, 3 bar/buffet areas, a 16x16' stage with sound and lighting, loading dock, big garage doors, antique lighting and decorative elements, Oriental rugs, chandeliers, track lighting and many lounge areas with comfortable couches.
