Creative Party, Event, and Workshop Space with Full Bar

Our 2000 sq ft studio space is equipped with a full bar, kitchenette, speakers, projector setup, and numerous tables & surfaces that are moveable to fit the specific needs for your event. We provide the space only—you’re welcome to bring in your own vendors (food, drinks, DJ, etc.) We've hosted zine workshops, learning events, cocktail parties, seated dinners and more here. We offer in-person walkthroughs (Tuesdays and Thursdays, mornings or evenings) and require one before booking. FAQ About the space: - How many bathrooms are there? One - Will the heat/ AC be on when I arrive? Yes. We turn on our heating and cooling systems ahead of events. - What are the parking options available for guests? Street parking is usually available and there is also a parking garage across Union ave. - Do you have additional seating? Yes we have an add on for 35 stools that you can purchase - Do you have cups? Yes we have an add on for a 72 piece set of glasses that you can purchase. For a fast and easy clean up, we recommend you to bring disposables. - Do you have dishes and silverware? Yes, but a limited amount. We recommend you to bring disposables for easy clean up. - What are the dimensions of the space? See layout photo in our images. About tours: - Can I tour the space before booking? Yes, we require a tour before booking and host them on Tuesdays and Thurdays 9pm-5pm. - Can I schedule my tour for a day other than Tuesday and Thursday? No, we do not have staff available all days of the week for tours. About event bookings: - Can I have food caterer or bar tender? Yes. Please keep in mind that we do not have a stove, but you may bring a hot plate. We also recommend our guests to bring disposable dishes and silverware since we have a limited supply. - Can I have a DJ? Yes you can have a DJ, but keep in mind that we are in a residential neighborhood and that the sound level should be kept to house party level. - Can I arrive early or leave late? No. Your booking time should represent the entire time you are in the space including set up and take down or you will be charged overages. - Can I book more time during or right before the event? No. All events must stick to the booking times agreed upon to avoid confusion, rescheduling our cleaner, and to mitigate stress. There are many great restaurants and bars in the neighborhood where you could spend time. - What is the attendance capacity and is it throughout the night or at one time? Our attendance capacity is 85 people throughout the night. Our capacity takes into account the ware and tear on the space. Your expected attendance throughout the night should be accurate in your booking inquiry. - Can I negotiate the price? No. We offer 15% off of 8+ hour events. Other than that our pricing is firm. - Can I drop off materials beforehand? No. In addition to hosting events, we are a coworking space. Materials drop offs are frequently disruptive and we aren’t always available to let you in. - Do we offer catering or party services? We do not offer services outside of offering the space. We also cannot offer party planning services.
