Trash Removal: Begin by emptying all trash cans in the event space. Replace trash bags with new ones. Ensure all trash is taken out to the designated disposal area. Surface Cleaning and Disinfecting: Wipe down all surfaces that were used, including tables, chairs, countertops, and any other hard surfaces. Use a disinfectant spray and clean cloth to thoroughly disinfect these areas. Pay special attention to high-touch areas like door handles, light switches, and electronic equipment. Floor Cleaning: If the floor is carpeted, vacuum the entire area to remove dirt and debris. For hard floors, sweep to remove loose dirt and then mop using an appropriate floor cleaner. Restroom Cleaning and Restocking: Clean all surfaces in the restroom, including sinks, countertops, mirrors, and toilets. Use a disinfectant cleaner for toilets and high-touch areas. Restock toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels or hand dryers. Ensure all trash is removed and replaced with a new bag. Final Touches: Check the event space for any remaining cleaning needs. Make sure all cleaning supplies are put away and the space looks neat and tidy. If any supplies provided to guests were used, replenish them as necessary.
