Established in 2012. The Famous is located in Glendale's historic Huntley-Evans building, directly across the street from the Americana at Brand. It follows a rich pedigree of establishments that have called this building home in the last century, most notably the early Glendale landmark, The Famous Department Store. Currently in its third iteration by Elliott Wang, the space has been transformed as of August 2024 into a light, airy, and beautiful space, designed by award winning architecture firm, Preen Inc. We serve craft cocktails, craft beer, small production wines, and creative mocktails. At the head of our bar program is our Bar Director, Elise McFadden. She is one of the best rising-star bartenders in Los Angeles, and The Famous is the perfect venue on which her delicious creations take center stage. Our space is warm, embracing, and beautifully appointed.
