This cozy, European style outdoor courtyard is ideal for small ​gatherings, acoustic concerts, ​talks, parties, informal meetings,​ ​poetry readings, coffee hours, happy hours, etc. It has a charming, magical feel to it, with several trees and a raised wooden stage at one end, and the rest of the courtyard has a combination of cobblestones and lush grass. This space is great for up to 20 people, seated or standing. Available for use are a dozen metal cafe chairs in pale blue and a dozen folding light colored wooden chairs, as well as two tiny cafe tables. Guests are welcome to bring their own folding tables for use. The space is open to the elements, however we do have a canopy sail we can put up over one end of the courtyard on request. The indoor area is a working art studio and unavailable for use, save for the small restroom accessible through the back door. There is an antique fully restored working refrigerator outside, and also a small refrigerator inside. Please let us know if you plan to use one or both. Due to the interior space being both a working art studio and a very old building, the host - one of the three artists from the studio - will be on-site at all times during events, to oversee anything guests might need. The on-site host will: ~ let the guest(s) in charge of the event in the front door of the studio at the beginning of their booking ~ assist all guests in finding their way around to the courtyard ~ stay unobtrusive while the event is happening, answering any questions as they come up ~ work w/ guests to facilitate what is needed for their clean up ~ lock up after the last guest has left
