With Shure SM7B mics, Blackmagic 6K cameras, and customizable lighting, your recordings will sound and look professional. But it’s not just about the gear—our space is comfortable, stylish, and flexible. Bring your props, tweak the lighting, and make it yours. We’ve even got a kitchen and plenty of room to get cozy before you hit record. Hit us up, and let’s get you set up to create something great! --- Location, Hours, & Parking: Conveniently located in Atwater Village, our studio is easily accessible from nearby eastside neighborhoods like Los Feliz, Silverlake, Echo Park, Highland Park, Glassell Park, Eagle Rock, and Frogtown, as well as the nearby cities of Glendale and Burbank. Two free tandem reserved spots are available, with paid on-site parking if needed and ample street parking nearby. Studio Hours: - Monday to Friday: 8 am to 7 pm - Saturday: By appointment - Sunday: By appointment Please note that there is a 2-hour minimum for bookings to ensure sufficient time for setup and orientation. --- The General Setup: Our professional audio and multi-camera podcasting studio is designed to accommodate up to 5 people on camera or fewer. The studio features 5 Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6Ks, 1 Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, Shure SM7B microphones, and a Zoom LiveTrak L-12 Digital Mixer/Recorder. The lighting setup includes Nanlite PavoSlim Bi-Color LED panels, offering customizable lighting options to suit your production needs. We cater to a variety of recording scenarios, whether it's in-person interviews, multi-host discussions, or remote guest integrations. Our 50” Samsung The Frame TV is available for viewing guests or displaying your show’s logo. --- Audio Podcasts: For audio-only podcasts, our studio is practically plug-and-play. With Shure SM7B mics and a Zoom LiveTrak L-12 Digital Mixer/Recorder, everything is ready to walk in and start recording. Base rate bookings include 2 mics, with additional available to rent at $20/mic flat rate. Our on-site engineer will handle all the setup, so you don’t need to worry about anything. Whether you’re a first-timer or a returning guest, we’ll have you up and running in no time. Video Podcasts: For audio and video podcast recordings, we recommend arriving 30-60 minutes before your session to adjust the decor and lighting setup. Our engineer will guide you through the equipment, help you tailor the setup to your liking, and answer any questions, ensuring you’re comfortable before we start recording. Base rate booking includes 3 cameras, with up to 2 additional cameras/viewing angles available to rent at $100/camera flat rate. The engineer will be present at all times during recording to assist and manage the equipment. Extra booking time is recommended for first-time clients to ensure your setup is dialed in perfectly. --- Additional Spaces: The studio includes a small kitchen with a fridge and coffee maker, along with one bathroom equipped with a full-length mirror and lighting. --- The Equipment: Our studio is fully equipped with: - (5) Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6Ks - (1) Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K - (5) Shure SM7B Microphones - Zoom LiveTrak L-12 Digital Mixer/Recorder - ATEM Mini Extreme ISO (up to 8 inputs) - 50” Samsung The Frame TV - Nanlite PavoSlim Bi-Color LED Panels + more Audio and video files: We provide isolated recordings of all microphones and cameras. Renters are required to bring their hard drives for file transfers. Editing is not provided, but separate arrangements can be discussed if needed. Hard drive requirements: - USB-C drive that is formatted to either Mac OSX or exFAT - USB-C drive must have approximately 1TB of available storage space per hour booked --- The Neighborhood: Located near vibrant Atwater Village and Glendale, our studio is surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants, and boutique shopping, making it a great spot to unwind before or after your session.
