Suburban Outdoor Play Space with Chickens

This space is ideal if you need more space for a private outdoor gathering, suitable for all ages. Think groups of families or friends with small children who just need outdoor space to have a get-together, yoga classes, family reunions with yard games, kids' outdoor birthday parties, etc., (If you're looking for a fancy space to host you're dream wedding, this probably isn't for you. We currently live here, and we don't have all the amenities needed to host anything formal). We have a very unique outdoor patio set with 6 chairs, and a 12x12 screened-in Gazebo with additional seating and is lighted at night. Several additional folding chairs and camping chairs along with 2 6-foot tables, and a large square table are available as add-ons. They may not all match, but it's somewhere to sit and chair covers can be used, if you're wanting to provide them. We have 3 large patio umbrellas to offer additional shade, as it can get hot during the summer months, these are included in bookings from April until October. We have a large outdoor buffet and a gas grill with a covered awning for all your grilling and serving needs. Please provide your own propane tank if using the grill, or message us in advance to pre purchase a full tank. We are flexible! Easy access from the parking area to a fully fenced-in backyard. On weekends, it is possible to park in the school parking lot across the street if your event has the need for more parking. We have 2 little ones, so we also have outdoor toys (frisbees, bubbles, whiffle ball, soccer ball and net, sidewalk chalk, water tables, sprinklers, ride-on toys, etc.,) and a few different playground pieces with swings and slides, and tires to climb. We also have a utility wagon that the kiddos love to take rides on. Please feel free to utilize them all during your visit. We can also hide them all in the garage if you prefer to not have them present. We have Cornhole boards, a ladder ball set, a home made kerplunk lawn game, and an extra large Jenga game so adults can play, too! Lots of plants, flowers, and vegetation make for an easy backdrop for photos. We have a greenhouse and in spring and summer, a hearty outdoor garden. You might say we like to be as self sufficient as possible. We have a flock of backyard chickens. Please let us know after booking if you would like them to be a part of your experience at no additional charge. They love to run around the yard, and are very friendly! Use of a dedicated full-size fridge and freezer is available and included. Just let us know in advance if you will be needing it. One full bathroom will be provided. It is within our home but will be 100% private during your booking, cleaned and sanitized before arrival. Outdoor electricity is available, please let us know when booking. Come enjoy the fresh air!
