Unique Factory Floor where Culinary Knives are Handcrafted

The STEELPORT Factory is where award-winning STEELPORT kitchen knives are handcrafted by our small team or artisans. As an active knife making factory floor, this is an entirely unique and inspiring venue to host events. We love working with brands and groups who share our love of craftsmanship and would enjoy an authentic working factory as the backdrop for their next event. Located at 36th and Sandy Blvd in NE Portland, we're centrally located right on the edge of the Hollywood neighborhood. With about 1,500 sq ft of indoor space complete with two roll up garage doors and a 10-car parking lot. This is a very flexible space with a main factory floor area, and a back room with french doors that can be left open for a larger event or closed for a staging/private area. We've hosted many private and public events with anywhere from 10-500 attendees, including group factory tours, knife sharpening classes, holiday markets, corporate holiday parties, happy hours with guest chefs, industry panels/presentations, product launch parties, and whiskey/beer club pickup parties for various brands. We have several tables of various sizes available for use, a large TV for presentations, two 10x10 pop-up tents to extend an event into the parking lot, and free wifi. Our most successful events are the ones with an interest in a Portland culinary and/or maker experience, especially those would be interested in seeing a behind-the-scenes/how-it's-made type space.
