Film Studio by the coast

York Road Studio is an ideal destination for creative professionals seeking a versatile space for film and photography projects. Located in the vibrant heart of Worthing, our studio provides a fully equipped environment designed to meet the needs of various creative endeavors. In addition to the extensive filming and photography facilities, we also accommodate workshops or seminars, with seating available for up to 70 participants. This makes York Road Studio not only a place for visual storytelling but also an excellent venue for skill-sharing and community building. Surrounded by a diverse selection of restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops, the studio offers easy access to refreshments and dining options for those involved in longer projects or events. Furthermore, being just a minute’s walk from the beach provides an opportunity for relaxation and inspiration, contributing to a well-rounded creative experience. York Road Studio is in the centre of Worthing and is fully self contained on the first floor of an old ‘Banana Ripening Warehouse’ on York Road. The studio is on the first floor and unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. It is 13m X 7m and 3m high. A total coverage shooting space of 979 Sq Foot. Bookings also have access to a kitchenette which has a fridge freezer, oven, nespresso machine and coffee, kettle and sink. There are also two gender neutral toilets. The studio itself is fully daylight with 3 skylights and 2 opening windows but can be made fully blackout within minutes to control your lighting. There are six different textured 'flats' available to hire that can be attached to the ceiling mounted track for ease of use moving around the space. There are four aircon units so you will be warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The ceiling is painted black to control lighting and the floor is grey and perfect for roller stands as it is smooth. There is a wide range of kit available to hire including lighting, grip, monitors, haze machines etc. This is a very quiet space in the centre of town.
