Photography and Film Studio

ShootSpace Studio is a brand new fully loaded photography and film studio space in Bristol at The Paintworks. This 700 sq ft studio was custom built by product photographers with specialist equipment to hire as part of the day rates quoted. This space and included equipment is perfect to use for portraits, fashion, product shoots, music videos and all sorts of content creation. Included lighting to use are 4x Nanlite 300W daylight units, 7 x 600W wireless flash strobes, colour paper backgrounds, plenty of modifiers and bounce boards and diffusion filter scrims. You can shoot both ways in the space with a max 9m (30ft) shooting depth to shoot against a wide range of 2.72m colour paper backgrounds (white, grey, black and green screen available). We also feature a real 6m wide brick feature wall. The studio has a matt black ceiling for maximum lighting control. The height of the ceiling is approximately 3m (3.2m in some places and 2.8m in others). You can also use large 8x4ft black boards to control spill. The studio is of new industrial build with modern insulation so heats up or cools down extremely quickly with a top of the range HVAC unit. The flooring is a neutral grey and solid epoxy floor for maximum stability. Overhead lighting consists of 9x 5600K LED strips and illuminate the space very well and can be turned off in rows of three. There is natural light from the front windows and are nice and high at 2.5m tall. These windows also feature blackout blinds for full blackout and frosted glass for privacy. The studio also features a kitchenette with espresso machine, fridge and microwave. There is a large accessible WC suitable for changing. Lighting setup and technician support can be provided upon enquiry. Please note that although acoustically treated and mostly quiet, this space does not guarantee a perfect environment for sensitive sound recording. Short recordings should be fine but interviews and long form video recording is not advised.
