Rooted Cafe is a funky, affordable space to host a large meeting (up to 40 people), training, or rehearsal in Somerville, MA! This unique rental is being offered on weekdays; the Cafe offers a welcoming space for professionals and creatives. Renters can use the built-in screen and projector, simple sound system, or piano. With an intimate stage, flexible seating, and rotating exhibitions featuring local artists on display year-round, Rooted Cafe at Arts at the Armory offers an atmosphere unlike any other. Rooted Cafe Specs: - The meeting space is approximately 500 square feet, not including stage - The stage is 12'x8' - note the width tapers to 6 feet at the back - Allen & Heath MixWizard 3 16:2 Soundboard; two speakers (NOTE: microphones are not included) - Rehearsal piano - Panasonic PT-LM2U video projector - 80x60" projector screen The kitchen will not be open, and no food or drink will be available to order on-site. Renters can bring in outside food and non-alcoholic beverages if they wish. For this rental, a temporary wall is installed to separate the dining room (including the stage) from the retail/kitchen area.
