Community Art Studio with cozy intimate vibes.

Our studio is located in the street-level of a mixed use commercial/residential row home in South Baltimore. It is the main street for the neighborhood just south of downtown Baltimore, surrounded by restaurants, bars, a large park nestled in a residential area. Whether you are hosting a birthday party (any age!), a social gathering, or a fundraising event, our flexible space is ready to custom-fit your needs. Our studio has three areas, (1) the storefront/gallery room, (2) the kitchen, and (3) the studio work room. The storefront/gallery room has great natural light during the day, and soft mood lighting at night. There are gallery hanging rails installed, to enable rotating wall art decor, to give your event an upscale art gallery setting in the storefront room. We have an art shop as well, which can be packed up during your event to allow for more table/seating space. For events, the storefront room is often used for a food or drink buffet, seating/table space - it's a nice space to gather, hang out, and enjoy food/drink alongside the artwork. The kitchen is small (think rowhome hallway kitchen), but well equipped with an oven, stovetop, microwave, fridge, toaster oven, coffee machine, kettle, and glassware. We do not have dinnerware, and only a limited number of pots/pans/oven ware. Save your budget on your next event, and self-cater. Our staff are happy to act as wait staff if that's the vibe you want, helping to serve food, keep the buffet fresh, and clean up plates/drinks. Wait staff will cost extra :). The studio work room is our arts and crafts room. We are well-stocked with art supplies of many mediums. We can custom design a craft activity or two to meet the theme/vibes of your event, and have all of the materials out, ready for your use. We can either have an instructor guide the activity, or just be available for questions as needed. Our popular art supplies for events include paints (watercolor, acrylic, oils), clay (hand building or wheel throwing, though we only have 2 wheels), ceramics painting, collage, candle making, tie dye, etc.
