Movie Theater and Gallery Space in South LA

Strategy and Soul Theater is owned and operated by the Labor/Community Strategy Center. The space features DCP and Bluray/streaming projection onto a 200' screen. Maximum capacity for seating is 100 in theater style seating. The theater has a seating area of roughly 1000 square feet. This space can be used for movie screenings via DCP, Bluray, Streaming through an apple TV device, or from a HDMI capable device. The Theater has a Dolby 5.0 surround sound system and a separate PA system with one mixer and 4 passive speakers. This space can additionally be used as a performance space for an audience of around 50 attendees and can also be used as gallery space. There is one restroom near the rear door, and an additional accessible restroom immediately behind the screen. The theater has recessed and dimmable lighting. Light controls are near the front door, and an accessible double front door. Rentals come with access to 50 stackable chairs and 50 foldable cushioned chairs, a 12'x1' stage, an adjustable podium, access to the PA system with two wireless microphones, and 2 wired microphones.
