Welcome to a versatile, design-forward studio crafted for creators. It’s simple, flexible, and ready for whatever you’re working on. Use it as a blank canvas for photos, videos, podcasts, meetings, or something entirely your own. The space features a decorative brick wall, textured backdrops, and an industrial-modern Bauhaus design. Located in Dupont Circle, the space is surrounded by creative energy, great coffee shops, and is just steps from the metro for easy access. Equipment: The studio is fully stocked with equipment, so you can travel light! Free with all bookings: All pictured furniture and props, three light stands, one rolling C-stand, seven 5x7-foot textured backdrops, an XLR cable, extension cords, and a range of grip accessories including clamps, gaff tape, sandbags, and an apple box. Continuous lights and lantern diffusers can also be reserved for free! Additional continuous and strobe lighting, modifiers, and other equipment are available for a flat fee — see the Add-Ons section for details. Backdrops: The space includes seven hand-painted textured canvas backdrops, each measuring 5 feet by 7 feet. A wall-mounted pole makes it easy to hang either our backdrops or your own. Sunlight: Natural light fills the studio throughout the day, streaming in from two east-facing windows. Direct sunlight shines through in the morning. For more control, blackout shades can be closed to block out most light. Staging Room: Adjacent to the studio is a versatile space that can be used as a makeup room, green room, or staging area, complete with clothing racks and makeup mirrors. The studio space is fully private and includes a lockable door for your privacy. The staging room, however, is shared with our studio across the hall. A private bathroom, reserved for studio guests only, is also included.
