Our bookstore is one of 8 queer bookstores in the country and the first in Seattle in more than 20 years. The space has been described as one of the most beautiful bookstores in the city, nominated for design awards, and even the bathroom has been written about by architecture magazines. We're in a turn of the century home built in 1903. It used to be a home for nearby mill workers and since has been home to families and retail. The entire bookstore is available to peruse during your booking!
Neighborhood details
We're in the eclectic neighborhood of Fremont - an artsy, bohemian zone that also happens to be the self-proclaimed “Center of the Universe.” Our space is on a main street surrounded by a mix of public art, restaurants, music venues, coffee shops, and retail shops. The neighborhood is a colorful haven where everyone is welcome.
