About us, the story so far... Unique was opened in 1916 underneath The Refectory Pub. Throughout the years this versatile event space has hosted numerous celebrities like The Who, Jimi Hendrix, and many more. Located on the borders of the beautiful and vibrant neighbourhoods of Golders Green, Finchley, and Hampstead Garden Suburb, Unique has excellent transport links. The venue has a full late-night alcohol licence, five-star hygiene rating, and meets all health and safety standards.
