Black Dymond House
A uniquely designed Japanese–Scandinavian retreat on 9 acres of private forest land
Black Dymond House is a newly built architectural gem — warm, sophisticated, and bathed in natural light. Designed with a blend of Japanese simplicity and Scandinavian minimalism, the home offers a serene yet inspiring atmosphere that’s perfect for film and series productions or multi-day photoshoots.
Step onto the architectural front porch or the striking back deck overlooking the trees. The thoughtfully designed landscape features native plants and, in summer, flourishing vegetable gardens that add vibrant texture to every frame.
A vintage Airstream, tucked away in the woods, provides an additional creative setting or private retreat space. From the back deck, you can see a sparkling trout stream weaving through the forest — a natural element that brings peace and cinematic beauty to the property.
As one of the owners — and a Creative Director and Producer — I’m available to assist with any production needs, on or off site. Whether you’re scouting for your next shoot or planning a multi-day production and need help on-site, Black Dymond House offers the perfect balance of style, warmth, and creative inspiration tucked away in the wild forest.
