Oak Haven Estate is a 9-acre private outdoor venue in Ventura County, originally established in 1980. The property has hosted weddings, rehearsal dinners, parties, and intimate celebrations over the years, and couples love its blend of natural beauty and relaxed California elegance. The estate sits at the end of a quiet private road, surrounded by avocado and citrus orchards, offering total privacy while still being conveniently close to Ventura, Santa Clarita, and Los Angeles. Walking paths include grass, gravel, concrete, and brick pavers. Layout & logistics Events are centered around the courtyard and pavilion areas. Outdoor electrical access is available in several locations for DJs, lighting, and live music. Ceremony: A grassy lawn draped by a majestic oak tree and Spanish fountain (seats up to 200 guests). There is also a small concrete-paved area for the wedding party to stand during the ceremony. Reception: One reception lawn that fits 15 round tables (8 guests each) plus a head table, with a small uncovered bar area and views of gardens, mountains, and mature oak trees. This area also works well for DJ setups and evening lighting. Some couples have chosen to host their reception on the sport court adjacent to the pavilion or on the small turf baseball field, both of which can accommodate dancing and entertainment. Pavilion: Covered 2,500 sq. ft. wooden pavilion (30–70 capacity) featuring a historic working bell, Santa Maria-style grill, wood-burning pizza oven, fire pit, bar area, TV screens, and adjacent uncovered dance floor/sport court. Power outlets are available for musicians, DJs, and event equipment. Prep Areas: Gameroom available for groomsmen (wrought iron walkout balcony, poker table, pool table, half bath, and attached indoor half-court basketball gym). Changing rooms/restrooms for the bridal party may be available in the guesthouse or pool house when vacant. There are designated prep areas for catering teams to stage food, equipment, and service tables. Access: The main house is off-limits unless discussed with the owner. With advance permission, the piano in the piano room may be used.
