Evergreen is a multi-room recording studio on First Avenue, located on the line between the North Loop and the Warehouse District in downtown Minneapolis, in the space that used to house IPR and designed by Dave Ahl. It’s led by a team of engineers that have decades of experience in live and recorded sound, including Tyler, The Creator, Run The Jewels, Zendaya, KISS, Ice Cube, John Mayer, Prince, YG, Wolf Alice, Mike Posner, Ariana Grande, Kendrick Lamar, Incubus, Baby Keem, Brother Ali, and others. There’s no front desk between you and the people running your session — you’ll be working with engineers and producers with real experience.
We’re a full-service tracking, mixing, rehearsal, and production facility. Two control rooms, a large live room sized for full-band tracking and rehearsal, multiple iso rooms, lounges, and a kitchenette give us the flexibility to handle anything from a solo vocal/rap session to a full ensemble cutting live. The flagship room runs an API Legacy Plus console into a deep analog chain — vintage Neve 1073s, Tube-Tech CL 1B, UA 1176s, Distressors, and more. Whether you are making Hip-hop, pop, rock, country, EDM, folk, jazz, or podcasts — we’ve got you covered. A full gear list is coming soon.
Studio A’s control room is anchored by an API Legacy Plus console and a curated collection of outboard gear, delivering the analog warmth and precision that serious tracking and mixing sessions demand — with two spacious iso booths and a live room all attached for seamless, full-production sessions.
Evergreen Studios’ live room is a spacious, acoustically treated environment built for both serious recording and full production rehearsals — capable of handling everything from intimate solo sessions to full-band tracking.
