The Salon at the Gallery Rooms Rental: The Gallery Rooms is a European-inspired photography and creative studio located in historic downtown Mooresville, North Carolina, just outside Charlotte and in the heart of the Lake Norman area. Designed by a photographer for photographers and creatives, the studio was created to feel less like a traditional rental studio and more like stepping into a collected European home. Original architectural character, exposed brick, beautiful natural light, antique and vintage-inspired furnishings, layered textiles, and thoughtfully styled details create a setting that photographs beautifully from every direction. The Gallery Rooms is home to four individually designed spaces: The Atelier, The Salon, The Conservatory, and The Parlor. Each room has its own personality and offers a variety of compositions within a single space, allowing you to create an entire gallery without every image feeling as though it was photographed against the same backdrop. The Salon: An elegant European-inspired room designed for portraits, storytelling, and beautiful gatherings. At approximately 321 square feet (14'5" × 22'3"), The Salon draws inspiration from the grand salons and drawing rooms of old European homes. Collected furnishings, layered textures, architectural character, and thoughtfully selected details create an environment that feels like a finished interior rather than a temporary photography set. The room's 22-foot length provides photographers with room to create a variety of compositions and perspectives. The Salon is ideal for editorial portraits, couples, maternity, families, bridal imagery, branding, fashion, lifestyle content, and other creative productions. With its beautiful natural light and timeless atmosphere, it’s perfect for the getting-ready part of your wedding day, from hair and makeup to getting dressed and capturing those meaningful moments before the ceremony. We’ve carefully arranged the seasonal touches to allow for photos without Christmas décor in the frame if you prefer a timeless look. The Christmas tree is tucked into a corner, making it easy to include or leave out of your shots. The garland can easily be taken off of the mantle.
