About the Space

Welcome to The Garage. This 3000 sq. ft. modern warehouse offers two-stories of open concept space, a roof terrace, and an indoor home theatre. A unique location, perfect for your corporate gatherings, workshops and creative productions. The Garage is located right in the centre of the SoMa neighbourhood - a short walking distance to Union Square and the Financial District. Major freeways and transportation are also easily accessible. The space comfortably fits 50 to 80 people. Additional folding tables, chairs and complimentary use of our state-of-the-art projector, wifi, Apple TV, Sonos audio system are available. Guests are welcome to arrange their own catering. There are 2 restrooms on site. Parking lot at the corner of 6th Street and Folsom. We have a driveway for unloading. Rates may vary if event extend beyond business hours of 8-5pm, M-F.

All booking start and end times are inclusive of set-up and clean-up time. Party inquires will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Flat rates may apply. Please note we get many rental inquiries, and only work with those organizations and artists who will be respectful of our special space and the furnishings within it. Please bag all trash (bags are provided) and return furniture back to original position at the end of event.

This was our first PeerSpace experience, and it was fantastic! Highly recommend this space for your event. We used it for the MBA Trek Kick Off event. We enjoyed all spaces 3 floors-including the roof deck (even with the gray skies)! Helen responded quickly to our questions, and met us before and after the event. Thank you, Helen!

Everything about this space is fantastic. We used it during a convention to demo our products and it was large enough for us to have multiple stations while still being extremely comfortable for our guests. Helen, the property manager extraordinaire, was very attentive and personable, which is something you don't always find with hosts. Would absolutely use this space again!

Helen was there to meet us in the morning and let us in. The space was awesome! We only had about 8 people attend, so we had plenty of room. It was a pretty chilly day so we didn't use the roof deck, but that was an added bonus. We would likely book again on hopefully a nicer day.

The Garage is a truly unique and charming space that I would recommend for almost any occasion. We held a party with about 40 attendees and the space was universally praised. Some attendees remarked that they planned to hold their own events here in the future. The space is located in a quieter part of San Francisco with ample street parking. Besides its decorations, the Garage has plenty of furnishings and hardware setup that meant we didn't have to bring in much of our own; ie. the sound system, projector, event tables, chairs, kitchen, etc were already provided. Helen, the venue manager, was very responsive and helpful throughout the process. Before booking, she took us on a tour of the space and allayed any concerns that we had. Before our event, she was available to address any additional questions that were brought up and, on the day of the event, she even insisted on helping us move furniture and setup the tables. Helen is the best!

Amazing! Helen was an excellent host, great with showing around the space and equipment. The space is super unique and every guest loved it. All of the equipment worked perfectly and there was lots of room for setting up as you wish.

Great place, nicer sign with company logo other than hand written sheet of paper on the door would be nice. Would also be nice of all the foldable chairs were the same and maybe padded, if you are sitting for an all day event.
