We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception here. The space is absolutely stunning - w/ ample lighting & greenery, so we only needed to add minimal decorations. There's a gallery for the dance floor, a lot of outside space for people to play lawn games & hang out, and a huge parking lot perfect for setting up the catering/dining area. In the lead up to the event, the owner was very kind, helpful, generous and great to work with. I do have to mention that we had some miscommunications about expectations of her involvement during the event. She had told us she'd be in and out during the event to check in on everything, and we offered her a meal since we had a big buffet, but she ended up getting a little too comfortable, getting intoxicated, tearing up the dance floor, and giving a speech during the dinner. I would just advise potential guests to be very communicative about host expectations when prepping for their event. But overall we had a pretty magical experience at this venue and are glad we chose it for our wedding.
Steph was an incredibly accommodating host and pleasant location owner! She was available, attentive, and open to the last minute requests that come with production. The space is very versatile, clean, and production friendly. Would absolutely book again!
This space was a lovely place to host a baby shower. The host, Steph, was great and very attentive. She was easy to reach by email and eased my mind when planning the party. I awarded this place 4 stars instead of 5 due to the limited street parking. All in all, it was a great experience for my guests and I.
Stephanie has created a sacred oasis for creative arts and healing work. Her studio and gardens were an ideal venue for our youth mindfulness facilitator training. There are multiple outdoor spaces for breakout groups that are truly inspired with plantings, trees and even wildlife! Highly recommended for groups and events who want a loving, nurturing, vibrant space for community building. A better host could not be found. Stephanie is truly a gem of Echo Park.
This is a fantastic space, and would definitely recommend. I used the space for a string quartet rehearsal, and it fit our needs perfectly. The lighting and atmosphere is warm and very welcoming, with an outside patio that provides a sense of comfort and ease. Stephanie was one of the easiest people to work with, and a wonderful host; making sure all our needs were met at all times.
